BUDDING artists and photographers have an opportunity to have their own exhibition at this year’s Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival.
There are two exhibitions up for grabs, a contemporary art open exhibition and a photography open exhibition, and potential exhibitors are asked to submit a piece of their best work to be in with a chance of winning.
The free festival runs from Friday September 28 until Saturday October 27, showcasing the creative talent of local, regional, national and international artists, packed with performances, exhibitions, events, talks and tours.
The closing date for entries is Monday August 20.
Both winners will receive £200 prize money and runners up for each competition will win £100.
An application form can be downloaded from www.warringtonartsfestival.co.uk and should be returned Emma Kelly, The Gallery at Bank Quay House, Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1NN.
Organisers are also asking people what they would like to see in this year’s festival! Suggestions should be sent to [email protected]
