A Royal delivery from the Palace

0

PENSIONERS and schoolchildren who teamed up to make a Jubilee card for The Queen have been thrilled to receive a reply from Buckingham Palace.
Tenants from Sankey Manor – a council sheltered housing scheme – and Park Road Primary School, Great Sankey, got together to make the card at a “silver surfers” event where they shared computer skills.
The older people’s team at Golden Gates Housing Trust were also involved in the project.
Now a letter and a card have arrived from The Palace – thanking them for their card.
