Woman attacked on mobility scooter

POLICE are hunting a man who attacked a woman riding a mobility scooter at Warrington.
The 49-year-old woman was riding the scooter on the pavement in Tanners Lane, outside the Eric Moore Health Centre
There was an exchange of words between her and a young man standing at the pedestrian crossing after which the man assaulted the woman by punching her in the back.
She suffered bruising and soreness to her back in the incident at about 2.30pm and July 2.
The offender is described as about 5ft6 inches tall, in his early twenties and of medium build. He had light brown hair with a long fringe, quiffed backwards. He was carrying a rucksack on his back and spoke with a local accent.
