A WARRINGTON youth centre is opening its doors to the community to launch a new, seven day programme.
Orford Youth Base will be on show to the public on Saturday, July 7.
A brand new timetable will be offered for the first time from the centre on Capesthorne Road and the launch will showcase the great work of the town’s youth service.
From 1-7pm there will be music, DJ’s, live bands, a youth advice shop, Rampworks, a climbing wall and much more to mark the occasion. There will also be a chance on the day to get information and guidance.
Cllr Colin Froggatt, the borough council’s executive member for children’s and young people’s services, said: “The youth service does a fantastic job supporting our most vulnerable young people when they most need it. Extending the programme for the Orford Youth base will allow them to continue adding value to local communities.”
