THE annual Rose Queen Festival at Thelwall had a real Royal flavour as villagers paraded through the area displaying red, white and blue.
Larissa Melia aged 12, a pupil at Lymm High School (pictured right) was crowned Thelwall Rose Queen 2012.
Retiring Queen was Claire Berry.
Many of the floats celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Hundreds of people turned out to cheer on the procession as it made its way to the Thelwall Parish Hall fields for the crowning ceremony.
