Giant Queen greets the torch

WARRINGTON Youth Service proudly showcased its Queen Giant at the Olympic Torch relay event.
The huge Queen has been made in partnership with Bewsey Youth Project and Warrington Youth Café and the spectacular dress was designed by students from Warrington Collegiate.
Their creation was with a whole host of “giant queens” assembled on the Town Hall lawn and youth workers were on hand to talk to the community about how it was made.
The Giant Queen will also be part of Jubilee celebrations on Saturday June 9 when she will be paraded around the town centre.
