Business as usual for binmen

BLUE, green and black bins will be collected as normal at Warrington over the jubilee bank holiday.
On Tuesday June 5 the waste and recycling teams will be out as usual and would like to remind residents to recycle as much extra waste as possible in blue bins and through recycling sites.
Cardboard, glass bottles and cans from Jubilee parties can all go into the blue bin.
A range of new items can now also be placed in the blue recycling bin, including plastic yoghurt pots and margarine tubs, plastic food trays, shredded paper, Tetra Pak and drinks cartons, clean tin foil and foil trays and aerosols.
Community recycling centres at Gatewarth, Woolston and Stockton Heath will be open throughout the bank holiday period.
