Objection overruled

AN objection from Lymm Parish Council failed to block plans for a home extension.
Warrington planners gave the go-ahead for the first floor side extension at a house in Whitbarrow Road, Lymm.
Parish councillors had not objected to the principle of an extension at the semi-detached house but felt the proposals would be detrimental to the street scene and out of keeping with adjacent properties.
But planning officers said the scale and siting of the proposed extension respected neighbours’ living conditions, preserving outlook and light and avoiding undue oppressive or overbearing impact.
