PLANS for two-storey side and rear extensions at a house in Victoria Avenue, Grappenhall have been approved by Warrington Borough Council’s planning committee.
Four neighbours had expressed concerns about the development, in particular in regard to a loss of light to a rear room at one house and a “tunnelling effect” caused by the rear extension.
There were also objections on the grounds of overdevelopment of the site.
But planning officers said the extensions were acceptable and would have no undue adverse impact on any neighbouring property.
However, they would result in the loss of an existing off-street parking space and a conditions was attached to provide an additional parking space at the front of the property.
Home extensions approved
