Farm appeal upheld

A PLANNING inspector has upheld an appeal against the refusal of planning permission for a change of use of an agricultural building at Camsley Grange Farm, Camsley, Lymm.
He has ruled the building can be used for window manufacturing, as a base for a building firm and for the storage of ice cream vans.
Borough council planners originally refused permission for the change, against the advice of their officers.
The inspector has ruled that re-use of the building is appropriate in the Green Belt and that there is no evidence that the change would cause any significant increase in traffic entering and leaving the site, nor any serious impact on highway safety.
