NEW residents arriving in Appleton will get a welcome from the Parish Council.
The council has published a “Welcome Pack” giving details of services, facilities and general information in and around the parish.
Available as a 22-page booklet, the useful “Welcome” can also be read online.
Compiled over a period of four months by council clerk Louise Parker, the pack lists events throughout the year, activities and places to visit, schools, day nurseries, churches, social and sporting facilities, youth services, health, etc.
The online version will be updated regularly.
