Electrical fault blamed for blaze

AN electrical fault is believed to have caused a fire which caused extensive damage at a house in Warrington.
The blaze was at a mid-terraced house in Fletcher Street, off Wilderspool Causeway shortly after 5pm yesterday.
Fire crews from Warrington and Birchwood were called to the scene and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus
tackled the blaze using a hose teel jet.
All persons were accounted for and a large industrial fan used to disperse smoke.
Electrical systems were isolated.
The caused of the fire is believed to be linked to some electrical wiring.
