THE 1330 (Warrington) Squadron of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets hosted its Annual Festival of Remembrance at St. Elphin’s Parish Church on Saturday evening, raising funds for the Royal British Legion.

The evening honoured those who have served and sacrificed for our country while bringing the Warrington community together.

The evening featured the Warrington Male Voice Choir, Warrington Brass Band, and heartfelt readings. A wreath-laying ceremony also took place, with a moment of silence to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice as those in attendance remembered our glorious dead.

Flight Lieutenant Alan Radcliffe, Commanding Officer of 1330 Squadron, stated prior to the event, “It is imperative for us, as a community and as a nation, to come together and remember the sacrifices made by so many. This festival is not just a tribute but also a reminder of the value of peace and the hope for a better future.”
