WARRINGTON Wolves’ centre Toby King has been granted a 12-month Testimonial by the Rugby Football League (RFL).

The Wire centre has made 164 appearances across 10 seasons in the primrose and blue, scoring 64 tries.

After representing Meltham All Blacks as a junior, Toby joined our Academy system in 2012. He made his first team debut against London Broncos in 2014.

The 28-year-old has lifted the Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield during his time with the club and won the Grand Final during a season-long loan spell with Wigan Warriors in 2023.
Toby has international honours with both England and Ireland. At our end of season awards he was presented with the Keith Naylor Community Award for his fantastic work with our Foundation projects and has named our Community Foundation as one of his chosen charities with others to be announced.
A Testimonial match is set to take place prior to the start of the 2025 season at The Halliwell Jones Stadium. Full details of the game, as well as other events and a special Testimonial kit, will be announced in due course.
Toby King said: “I can’t believe from arriving here as a 16-year-old boy who had just left High School that I would be celebrating a Testimonial at this great club.
“From Tony Smith giving me my debut to being coached by one of the greats in Sam Burgess, it’s been one hell of a rollercoaster and I’m loving being part of this special group.
“I want to thank all my team-mates and coaches over the years. My family for their sacrifices which has enabled me to live my dream of playing rugby. Also the Warrington fans who have been incredible to me since I first arrived at the club.
“I’m immensely proud and I’m excited for the year ahead.”
Warrington Wolves CEO Karl Fitzpatrick added: “I’m really pleased for Toby to have been granted a Testimonial year. He’s a player who fought hard as a teenager to earn his spot in the first team having progressed through our Academy and he has now established himself a decade later as one of the best centres in the game.
“Toby is heavily involved in the community and is always generous with his time, making him a really popular figure amongst supporters.
“I’m excited to see what he can achieve on and off the field for the rest of this season and the year ahead.”
