FIRE caused serious damage at a bakery in Warrington early today.
The blaze was at Tomlin’s bakery in Amelia Street and fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, use a jet and a hose reel jet to tackle the outbreak. A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the premises.
Fire damage affected the bakery itself and the adjoining shop front.
No-one was on the premises at the time and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
Fire crews also went to Hughes Avenue, Orford, where an abandoned motor cycle was discovered ablaze. The machine was destroyed.
