COMMUNITY Interest company Helping Hands Changing Lives, Warrington has launched a book club.

Fifteen new members turned up at the first meeting at St Benedict’s Club, in Rhodes Street, Orford and paid £5 – which included a free drink.

They had a good chat, getting to know each other, and talking about their favourite authors and genres.
The plan is for the group to meeting regularly and choose a book to read and discuss.
First book chosen was “The Family Man” by Kimberly Chambers and the group will regroup on Wednesday October 2 at 7pm to discuss the book.
Organisers were delighted with the turn-out for the first meeting but hope to attract more members over the coming months.
The group can be contacted at [email protected]
