THE Great Warrington and Latchford Duck Race returns to the River Mersey this Sunday, September 1st.
The event starts at 12-noon with craft stalls, fairground rides, burgers, ice cream and other activities on the river bank next to Warrington Rowing Club.
The business-sponsored ducks will start the racing at 2:00 p.m. when the Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Mo. Hussain gives the signal. This race will be followed by the small ducks around 3:00 p.m.
The family day event is organised and shared by the two communities of Fairfield & Howley & Latchford East.
