TWO fire crews were called out to a smoking grain silo at Culcheth, Warrington.
At 18:16 yesterday, Tuesday, crews from Lymm and Warrington attended at premises on Church Lane, Culcheth.
A grain silo was smoking. Although there were no visible flames the crews needed to cool the silo and used two covering jets to do this.
The silo had been switched off and the grain removed from it.

Whoever is the reporter on this article needs to get another job , there was plenty of flames and a serious danger to property , until the fire brigade turned up .
