Members of the public assist police bringing man to safety

MEMBERS of the public assisted police in bringing a man to safety following a concern for welfare incident on Bridgefoot, Warrington, this morning.

Police, fire and ambulance services attended at the scene following concerns for the welfare of a man.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 10.30 am today, Tuesday 20 August, police were called to Bridgefoot in Warrington following concerns for the welfare of a man.
“Officers attended and with the help of members of the public the man was brought to safety.”
