A road closure of up to four weeks is scheduled for Coronation Drive, Penketh, Warrington, starting on September 2.
The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out mains renewal and service transfer works.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Coronation Drive from its junction with Heath Road to its junction with Warrington Road.
The Order will be effective from 2nd September 2024 for 4 weeks, as and when signed on site.
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Heath Road, Warrington Road and vice versa.
