THE American themed gastro-pub the Eagle and Spaceman has arrived in Warrington offering a quirky menu of classics.

The new business venture, the latest of owner Andrew Kinsella, has been set up with the help of crowd funding from happy customers at the ell known Café at the end of the Universe based across town at Warrington Market.

The crowd funding brought in over £7,000, with those donating receiving special merchandise or vouchers to use at the pub.

Andrew said: “After the success of our businesses Cafe at the end of the Universe and Dark side of the Spoon (run by his wife) we decided to open a brand new American inspired gastropub in the centre of Warrington.

“With the Eagle and Spaceman we hope to offer a cool, alternative food and drinks venue. We took inspiration from our previous US road trips to come up with a quirky menu of deli sandwiches and American pub classics.

“There are some amazing places to drink in Warrington, however I do feel like there is a gap in the market for somewhere cool and different where people can go for a drink and chat with their friends without shouting over the music. We want to have quiz nights, board game nights and are open to other events that might interest our followers

“We also have a great range of American beers and American inspired beers from local breweries. Our neighbours have brewed us our own 4Ts IPA. We carry a good selection of bourbons and hope to expend our range as we become more established. We would ask anyone whose followed us over the years to come and say hello and hopefully find your new favourite place to eat or drink,” added Andrew.
