Local makers collaborate to highlight local artisan tableware and furniture

Two local makers, Meraki Woodcraft and Nina D, have got together to showcase their artisan tableware and dining furniture, and highlight the quality and choice available locally.

Nina D produces luxury tableware using hand-illustrated designs inspired by her Swedish family traditions, while Meraki handmade artisan dining furniture, including dining tables, benches, console tables, shelving and sideboards, out of their Warrington workshop and Design Studio.
Both are small local makers who love working closely with their customers, helping them not only create elegant dining spaces using traditional techniques and natural materials, but also quality moments and memories around the table.

Owner of Meraki Woodcraft, David Cross said: “We wanted to celebrate the handcrafted element of Nina D’s tableware and Meraki’s dining furniture. We’re both passionate about using sustainable material to create something that will last for many years to come.”

Meanwhile, David has also been busy mentoring Warrington & Valye Royal College student Jensen Butterworth who has launched an online business and recently featured in Warrington Worldwide.

His tutorage at Meraki has been invaluable. Tucked under the wings of its founder David, Jensen has been shown how to design, build, cost and market his new work.
