Padgate library is to close for two days on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 August.
The library is having a new boiler installed, as part of a larger project to install heat pumps at Padgate Academy, which is part of the same complex.
As part of the works, power to the whole site needs to be isolated, including the library.
This means that Padgate library will close while this work is carried out. It is expected to reopen as usual at 10am on Thursday 29 August.
Warrington Borough Council says it apologises for the inconvenience the library’s temporary closure may cause. You can still use any of the other libraries which will be open as usual: livewirewarrington.co.uk/library/our-libraries
Any fines incurred due to the disruption will be waived.
