Following the closure of the Broomfields leisure centre swimming pool for essential works, it is set to reopen.
The swimming pool will open to the public again tomorrow, Saturday 10 August, with swimming lessons at the centre resuming from Monday 12 August.
The pool has remained closed to allow essential repair work. The pool required a new part, which had to be specifically manufactured.
Cabinet member for communities, culture and leisure, Cllr Tony Higgins, said: “I’m pleased that the repair works at the Broomfields pool have been completed and I’m grateful to our LiveWire members and pool users for their patience.
“We look forward to welcoming you back to Broomfields”.
