FIREFIGHTERS were called out to another fire believed to have been started deliberately at Lymm, yesterday, (Monday).
At 17:55 one crew from Lymm attended reports of a fire in a wooded area off Eagle Brow,
Firefighters attended the smouldering fire in a wooded area and used What3words to locate it. On arrival, they used a hose reel to extinguish approximately six square metres of scrubland.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check the area for hot spots of fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
It follows on from another incident recently where youths were seen to set fire to a hedgerow in the village.
