Cheshire Grange care home, in Lymm, was full of animal mischief recently, when the farm came to visit the home.

Residents at Cheshire Grange were pleasantly surprised to see animals such as Valais Blacknose sheep, Silkie chicks, goats and a very gorgeous rabbit roaming around their garden as Kimzy from Mobile Farm Cheshire paid a visit.
General Manager Dawn Holsgrove-Smith said: “Our residents, staff, visitors and myself have really enjoyed today’s farm visit.  We knew that having the farm here would be a bit of fun for all our residents, especially as some find it difficult to go on many outings in our minibus.  We are always looking for new activities for the residents and today we have seen the seen the enjoyment and the therapeutic influence animals can have on people.”
Resident Helen Harrison was interested to meet the animals ‘ I grew up here when it was farm and then married a farmer, but we never had sheep or goats but they have brought back many memories for me’
