ALICE Meyer and her partner, Chris Wood, from Warrington, are preparing for an emotional challenge –  on September 14, they will be skydiving to raise money for Suicide Prevention UK, a cause very important to them.

They will be remembering Alice’s brother, Thomas who took his own life 10 years ago.

It was on September 15, 2014,  that Alice lost her brother to suicide and his loss had a significant impact on her. But Alice has always wanted to turn her grief into something positive and this year,   the tenth anniversary of Thomas’s passing she has now has found a meaningful way to commemorate his life.

Chris Wood, Alice’s partner, has also experienced the pain of losing friends to suicide. Together, they decided to skydive to raise funds for Suicide Prevention UK, an organisation that works tirelessly to provide support and resources to individuals struggling with mental health issues, aiming to prevent suicide and offer hope to those in need.

Alice and Chris hope their skydive will not only honor Thomas’s memory but also raise awareness and funds for a cause that is close to their hearts. By supporting Suicide Prevention UK, they aim to help others who might be facing similar challenges.
