BAILIFFS and a court order are being requested to move on the latest traveller encampments to arrive in Warrington.

Bailiffs are being instructed to move on an encampment of six caravans on a privately owned car park at the B&Q Store on Delph Lane, Winwick who arrived yesterday, July 16.

Meanwhile, Warrington Borough Council is seeking a court order to move on an encampment of 10 caravans from Silver Lane at Risley which arrived on July 10.

It is the latest in a long running number of issues involving travellers using the Council-owned land as an encampment.

Meanwhile, an encampment of five caravans which arrived on Longbarn Boulevard, Poulton with Fearnhead on July 14 has now vacated the site.
