Investigations ongoing following two burglaries at Lymm

POLICE investigations are ongoing after two burglaries at residential properties at Lymm during the early hours of the morning.

Officers are now appealing for CCTV or doorbell footage following the burglaries on grove Avenue and Ash Road in the village, which took place minutes apart.

At around 6.03 am on Thursday 11 July, officers responded to reports of a burglary that had occurred the previous night at an address on Grove Avenue, Lymm.

The caller reported that two unknown individuals had accessed the address and proceeded to take the occupant’s wallet that contained bank cards.

Officers received a second call at around 6.07 am in relation to reports of another burglary that occurred overnight at an address on Ash Road, Lymm.
The caller reported two unknown individuals accessed the address and proceeded to take the occupant’s wallet, a laptop and a number of items of clothing.
Enquiries in relation to these incidents are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website, quoting IML-1867791.
Residents in the area are also asked to review any dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage from the time of the offences that may aid officers in their enquiries.
