POLICE are searching for a driver who ran off after his car was involved in a crash on the M6 near Lymm.
The car was in collision with a van and then span off the motorway into a field, where it burst into flames.
The occupant was seen to run off.
Fire crews from Warrington and Knutsford were called to the scene.
The two occupants of the van suffered whiplash injuries and cuts to the head and were taken to hospital for treatment.
