Another weekend of festive fun

ANOTHER weekend of festive fun is promised for Warrington with performances at the Parr Hall and plenty of street entertainment.
It’s also the last day of the Winter craft village tomorrow (Saturday) – a last chance to drop in and pick up some unique, locally crafted gifts.
Today and tomorrow Warrington Male Voice Choir present their annual “Christmas voices, Christmas brass” at the Parr Hall, with the combined Warrington and Highfield male choirs and guest soloist Irish international classical crossover soprano, Margaret Keys.
Also today, comedy folk band the Houghton Weavers will present a Christmas spectacular at The Pyramid.
Tomorrow offers a last chance to visit the Winter Craft Village in Bridge Street, where there will be a huge range of locally created gifts, crafts, mulled wine and hot chocolate – and much more.
Throughout the town centre there will plenty of fun and entertainment tomorrow, with camels, reindeer, Oom-pah bands and street entertainers providing something for everyone.
