Room at the Inn Charity Appeals for Donations

0

WARRINGTON’S Room at the Inn charity is calling for donations to keep their important work going. The charity relies completely on donations to help those in need.

The charity’s day centre is open to everyone from 10 am to 5 pm, providing a safe place for people. They offer essential items like clothing, food, and water to the homeless. The charity emphasises how easy it is for anyone to find themselves in this situation, highlighting the need for community support.

Room at the Inn also helps people with important tasks like claiming benefits and using the charity as a care-of address. They assist the homeless in registering with a GP and dentist, ensuring they get the healthcare they need. Their main goal is to create a plan to find housing for each person.

The charity currently needs specific items like milk, juice, sugar, coffee, biscuits, snacks, underwear, t-shirts, trainers, blankets and sleeping bags. These donations are really helpful for the daily operations of the centre.
