GRAPPENHALL were denied victory in a game they dominated from the start when they hosted Bowdon at Broad Lane.

Asked to bat first they hit a challenging 241 all out, with most of the batsmen finding the Bowdon attack to their taste.
William Fell top-=scored with 52, but there were useful innings from Arav Shetty, 35, Joe Ashmore, 37, and skipper Ben Bodha, 25.
Bowdon never looked threatening and with Sam Guest taking 3-42, Arran McCabe 3-47 and Ashmore 2-20 were still 90 runs short with nine wickets down. But the last pair hung on, adding only one run and leaving Grappers have to settle for 17 points from the drawn game.
The result left them fifth in the Cheshire County League ECB premier league.
Grappenhall 2nd went down by six wickets at Nantwich after being bowled out for a disappointing 139. Opener Steve Rooney top scored with 37.
The home side lost four wickets getting the runs, Ross Arrowsmith taking 3-57.
Grappenhall 3rd lost heavily at Didsbury, being bowled out for 77 after the home sioe had posted 195.
Iyer Manav was the pick of the Grappers bowlers, with 3-13.

Warrington’s charge for the division one title in the Cheshire League was interrupted when their game at Woodford was cancelled. But they remain top of the table, unbeaten and 16 points clear of their nearest rival.
Warrington 2nd lost by 89 runs hosting Urmston who hit 188-6. Warrington were bowled out for 99, with Raj Soni hitting 37.
Appleton went down by five runs in a closely fought game at Holmes Chapel.
Winning the toss, they asked the home side to bat first and then saw them hit a challenging 196-6.
Rain interfered with the game and Appleton were set a revised target of 180 from 35 overs. When
the overs ran out they were on 174-8.
Skipper Adam Pearson hit 34 and R Kellett top-scored with 62.
Appleton 2nd picked up a win the easy way, when opponents The Groves conceded.
The derby game between Appleton 4th and Warrington 4th at Walton Lea ended with a nine run
victory for Warrington. who won the toss and elected to bat first.
Teddy Hastings, with an unbeaten 77 was the mainstay of the innings which ended on 186-8.
Appleton led by skipper Marcus Pepper with 46 made a great effort to reach their target but fwell short by nine runs
Lymm Oughtrington Park beat Wirral by 26 runs away from home.
Opener Antonel Atwell hit a blistering unbeaten 97 from 78 balls to set Lymm on their way to 141-5.in 25 overs.
The home side could only muster 115-8 in 25 overs in the rain affected game.
Glazebury won by eight wickets in another rain-affected game at Tranmere Victoria.
Winning the toss, they asked the home side to bat first and bowled them out for 187. \Ben Marote took 4-40 and Tom Whitby 3-45.
Set a revised target of 180 from 42 overs, Glazebury hammered 183-2 with Aussie opener Anthony Meulman hitting an unbeaten 104 at a run-a-ball and including 12 fours and three sixes. Kyle Keeble hit 35 not out.
Glazebury 2nd lost by seven wickets at Appleton after being bowled out for 69. Yohan Prakash took 5-13 for Appleton while skipper Mark Sands htt27 when they replied with 66-3 chasing a revised target of 63 from 35 overs.
