See Me campaign spotlights Walton Lea Learners during Learning Disability Week

1

STARTING today (Monday) the Walton Lea Learner Media Team will share their “See Me” Campaign to coincide with Learning Disability Week.

The campaign celebrates the wonderful people at Walton Lea; their warmth, humour, empathy and the interest they have in others. SEE Me is based around a series of characterful images that show Walton Lea as home to artists, swimmers, bakers, musicians, craftworkers, rugby players and more.

The photographs can be spotted in the SEE ME tree in front of Walton Hall. The photo tree represents how high people can climb when they pursue and develop their individual talents and skills at Walton Lea.

The photos will also appear across social media during the week. The first photo is the friendly face of their Star Baker Betty.

The Learner Media team will also be out and about talking to children at Cinnamon Brow Primary School and can be heard on Radio Warrington’s Matthew Moorcroft show on Wednesday.
