Christmas at the children's zoo!

EXCITED children visited Walton Hall Gardens’ Children’s Zoo where they helped create a festive atmosphere for the animals.
About 30 children and their families dropped in to see the animals and then decorated the zoo’s tree with handmade decorations. They also coloured in Christmas cards for their favourite animal, as well as making a paper chain for display.
Zoo Ranger Liz Rowlands said: “It was lovely to see so many visitors on a winter’s day. The tree looks great with all the bright decorations and will cheer us up on dark winter days.
“Don’t forget you can visit the animals all over Christmas, although we close at 12 noon on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.”
