Baby in hospital after blaze

0

A SIX-month old baby was taken to hospital after a kitchen fire at Warrington.
The blaze was at a property in Longford Street – just around the corner from Warrington fire station.
But crews from Stockton Heath were called to the scene because Warrington firefighters had been called to deal with a major fire at Widnes.
The child was taken to Warrington Hospital as a precaution and was not seriously harmed.
An overheated grill pan caused the blaze which was already out by the time crews reached the scene. Firefighters carried out a home safety assessment while at the property.
