REVISED plans for Bents’ annual Charity Fun Run are coming along nicely, with hopes for blue skies and sunshine on Saturday 8th June at 2pm when the fun will begin.

Bents would like to encourage as many people as possible to get involved in the family friendly 5K challenge, with all money from ticket sales being donated to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), the Centre’s 2024 Charity of the Year.
Whether walking, running or exercising the dog, the 5k route through the beautiful Windy Bank Woods is perfect for people of all ages.  Tickets are £4 per adult and £2.50 per child with a pre-registered family of four ticket at just £10 available online only, prior to the event.

Every step taken will help support the incredible experiences provided by CAFT, a place full of fun and laughter for children whose lives are impacted by illness, disability or social disadvantage.  The Cheshire based charity, which is supported by celebrity patrons including John Bishop and Jason Manford, offers day visits and residential breaks with friendly, safe and engaging activities for young children who have suffered hardships from a young age.
Starting at 2.00pm (2.00pm registration, 2.30pm race start) from outside The Pet Place, participants will make their way through Windy Bank Woods before returning to Bents where rewards and medals await.  The route will be fully signposted and is suitable for all ages and abilities and dogs are welcome too!

Places can be pre-booked by registering at bents.co.uk or tickets can be purchased on the day, with all proceeds donated to the charity and helping to make a difference for all the children who visit the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
