Warrington Borough Council Local Election results

UPDATED: THERE were gains for Labour and the Lib Dems in the borough local elections with the Tories facing near wipe out, retaining just one seat.

Labour made a significant gain in Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft, taking all three seats off the Tories.

The first result declared was Poulton South where Rebecca Anne Knowles and Stephen John Rydzkowski were elected for Labour.
Next to declare was Latchford East where Council leader Cllr. Hans Mundry and his wife Karen were both re-elected for Labour.

At Burtonwood and Winwick Independent Stuart Mann took a seat off Labour.

The Tories were left with just one Cllr. Rob Tynan at Rixton & Woolston.

The parish council results will be counted and updated tomorrow and will be available to view on the council’s website.

  1. Not a good turnout due to everyone knowing that the sheeples will continue to vote Labour in. No matter how bad they have been for Warrington
