POLICE investigating a robbery at a Co-op store in Warrington where staff were threatened, have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
At 12.30 pm on Wednesday, 7 February two unknown men entered the Co-op store on Warrington Road, Penketh, and stole around £100 worth of tablets from the health and beauty aisle, before making threats to staff.
One man is described as being in his mid-late 40s, around 5′ 11″ tall, with facial hair, was well-groomed, of a heavy build, and was wearing a black coat, black jumper, and blue jeans.
The second man is described as mid-30s, around 5′ 11″ tall, of a stocky build, with black hair, a well-groomed short beard, and was wearing a black cap, a long black coat, a white t-shirt, and black jeans.
Both men are believed to be of Middle Eastern ethnicity and spoke with a foreign accent.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of this, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
DC Ian Prashar said:“As part of our ongoing investigation, we would like to speak to the man pictured as we believe he may hold vital information.

“We would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to get in touch.”
