Firefighters help rescue casualty after car collides into ditch

FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue one casualty after a car came off the road and collided into a ditch at Burtonwood, Warrington.

At 15:29 yesterday, Tuesday, crews from Warrington and Penketh attended reports of a one-vehicle collision on Bold Lane, Burtonwood.

Fire crews were called to a car that had come off the road and into a ditch. One casualty was rescued and handed over to the care of paramedics.
Firefighters made the vehicle safe and assisted the police with managing the congestion around the incident.
