2024 Sports Personality of the Year Winner Odds

Contender Odds Probability
Luke Littler 7/1 12.5%
Harry Kane 8/1 11.1%
Jude Bellingham 8/1 11.1%
Mark Cavendish 9/1 10.0%
Adam Peaty 12/1 7.7%
Ronnie O’Sullivan 12/1 7.7%

Littler who recently turned 17, has thrown himself into a household name after a tremendous performance at the World Darts Championship where he came runner-up in his debut tournament.
Littler then followed this in January by winning the 2024 Bahrain Masters where he beat Michael van Gerwen 8-5 in the final as well as throwing a 9-darter earlier on in the tournament.
England footballers Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham follow in the market, and the pair are expected to be the two key players for England at Euro 2024.

Further insights:

  • With odds at 12/1, Adam Peaty is the only anticipated Olympian to currently feature among the favourites – this is extremely likely to change over the year however.
  • Will he, won’t he? Cyclist Mark Cavendish has postponed retirement plans to race in 2024 and target a record-breaking 35th Tour de France stage win. At odds of 9/1, this thrilling story could well get Cavendish the backing of the British public.
