Police warn of fixed penalty notices for inconsiderate parking outside school

POLICE have been carrying out patrols around another Warrington primary school following ongoing parking problems.

Local PCSOs from Great Sankey North Police conducted a school parking patrol around Park Road Community Primary school this week due to ongoing issues.

Verbal advisories were issued as drivers were present and they moved their vehicle straight away, however they were advised if they were not present a fixed penalty notice would have been issued.

Police are advising people to park considerately when dropping off and picking up at the school.

It follows on from PCOs at Orford, Warrington, tackling dangerous issues outside a local primary school.

Local residents have been complaining about dangerous around St Ann’s Primary School, especially during pick up times.

Traffic problems outside local schools has been an ongoing issue for highway chiefs at Warrington Borough Council, who have imposed parking exclusion zones outside some schools.
