Two fire crews tackle blaze at ground floor of property

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a blaze on the ground floor of a property in Warrington on Tuesday afternoon.

At 16:44 fire crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath were called to reports of a fire at a property on Lord Street.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a fire on the ground floor of the property using a hose reel jet.

A high-pressure fan was also used to clear the smoke. Crews were in attendance for over two hours.
