No serious injuries reported following two-vehicle collision which closed Cromwell Avenue

POLICE say no serious injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision on Cromwell Avenue, Warrington late on Wednesday afternoon, which resulted in a road closure for more than two hours.

The incident involved a collision between two vehicles near Europa Boulevard which appeared to be head-on.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 4.15 pm on Wednesday 17 January, police were called to a collision on Cromwell Avenue, Warrington.
The collision involved two cars, there were no reports of any serious injuries.
The road was closed while officers dealt with the incident – it reopened at 6.30 pm.
