Teenage girl seriously injured following collision on Knutsford Road

A teenage girl was seriously injured following a collision on Knutsford Road near the entrance to Victoria Park, yesterday afternoon.

Knutsford Road westbound was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident involving a teenage girl pedestrian and a white Audi A1 car.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said police were called to reports of a collision on Knutsford Road, Warrington at around 4 pm on Friday.

Officers attended at the scene and found that a pedestrian – a teenage girl – had been involved in a collision with a car, a white Audi A1.
The teenager was believed to have sustained serious but not life-changing injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
