Three fire crews tackle kitchen blaze

A toaster is believed to have started a kitchen fire at a property in Orford during the early hours of this morning.

At 02:48 crews from Warrington, Stockton Heath and Penketh attended at a property on Shaws Avenue.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out a kitchen fire believed to have involved a toaster.
A high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke.
There was no report of any casualties.
