THREE high value theft shoplifters who travelled to Warrington targeting town centre stores have been arrested.

Overnight police in Greater Manchester made numerous arrests of individuals circulated as wanted by Warrington Police for high value shop thefts in the Town Centre.

Officers from Town Centre Beat Team went across to two GMP custody suites to deal with them.

As a result, they have charged and remanded two females for an alleged theft of handbags to the value of over £1000 from TK Maxx.
In addition, they have charged and bailed a juvenile male to court for an alleged ‘Grab and Run’ theft of Fragrance to a value over £1000 from The Perfume Shop.
Warrington Police say individuals travelling from outside Cheshire to carry out such offences can expect a premium service.
