SHOPPERS in Warrington this weekend have a chance to try a 3D body scanner which uses state of the art technology to assess their body shape.
Expert stylists will be in Golden Square shopping centre with the UK’s leading fashion technology in a futuristic fashion project.
The team from the centre’s fashion website go-style.co.uk will be on hand on Friday and Saturday to style shoppers using body shaping technology.
Organisers say that in a recent UK survey 87 per cent of women said they were different sizes in different shops, and that most women have an average of four pieces of clothing they have not worn due to reasons including bad fit (34 per cent) or poor size (25 per cent).
The Style Simulator is a 3D body scanner that records the curves of a person’s body to provide style experts with a fully rotational image, as well as giving them a list of their perfect sizes in different retailers.
On Saturday there will also be a fashion show every hour outside Debenhams.
Ian Cox, centre marketing manager, said: “This event is like nothing we’ve ever done before. The Style Simulator is giving us the chance to offer our customers a bespoke service and create an amazing atmosphere in the centre. This really is the perfect way to kick off the new season in style.”
