WARRINGTON Wolves will take centre stage at this year’s ClubCall with Chairman Steven Broomhead making the announcement live on TV.
Wolves’ Head of Coaching Tony Smith has admitted not being a fan of ClubCall and says he will leave the decision down to the board.
Finishing top of the league and winning their opening play-off match against Huddersfield Giants, means the Wolves can select their semi-final opposition on Friday week.
The club will choose from the winners of the two Preliminary Semi-finals this weekend between Wigan and Catalan, and Huddersfield and Leeds.
Professor Broomhead will join the Sky team at the DW Stadium on Sunday night after Wigan’s game against Catalan to name the team selected by the club.
He said: “We are delighted to be involved at this stage in the season in this innovative decision-making process. Much conversation and speculation will go on amongst our supporters which will add excitement to final stages of what has been an entertaining, competitive and hugely enjoyable season for the Wolves.”
Warrington’s Qualifying Semi-Final match will be played on Friday September 30, kick off 8pm, at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Tickets are currently on sale to 2011 Warrington Season Ticket Holders in WolfWare, on 08448 11 11 76 and at WolfWare Online.
Match tickets will go on general sale from 9am this Friday, September 23.
