Motor cyclist badly injured

A 50-year-old Warrington man has has been left seriously injured following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in the town centre yesterday.
The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a Triumph motorcycle at around 3.20pm on Bold Street when the 50-year-old motorcyclist sustained significant injuries to his lower body and is currently being treated at Warrington Hospital where his condition is described as stable. The driver of the Vectra was uninjured.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact PC Andy Hunt at Warrington Traffic Unit on 0845 458 0000 quoting incident 536 15th September 2011.
